Local Entrepreneur Brings Mayweather Boxing + Fitness to the Houston Suburb of Richmond

Located across the street from Sam’s Club in Richmond at 22377 Bellaire Blvd., the new studio will be opened by local entrepreneur, Teresa Welch.

This will be Welch’s first location opening in the Houston area, with plans to open one more in the near future. A serial entrepreneur and Houston local, her decision to bring Mayweather Boxing + Fitness to Richmond was rooted in her passion for wellness and improving the lives of those in her home community.

Mayweather Boxing + Fitness utilizes methods developed throughout Floyd Mayweather’s 21-year undefeated boxing career. Floyd Mayweather developed and designed the innovative fitness experience with the perfect combination of boxing, strength and cardio conditioning intervals approachable to any fitness audience. Members can participate in 45 and 60-minute-long classes that use state-of-the-art smart screen technology to project Floyd’s image throughout the duration of the class, making members feel like they are learning from and training alongside the undefeated boxer himself.
