Christian Brothers Automotive Offers Free Oil Changes to Individuals in Need for National Service Day
Family-Owned Automotive Repair Brand Hosts 11th Annual Initiative; Continues Its Commitment to Give Back
October 15, 2021 // FranchiseMarketingSolutions.com // HOUSTON – Christian Brothers Automotive, an aftermarket auto care brand, remains rooted in its mission to “Love your neighbor as yourself.” On Oct 16th, the company will celebrate its 11th annual National Service Day, a coordinated community giveback initiative to provide complimentary oil changes and other free services to individuals in need.
“National Service Day is an annual opportunity for Christian Brothers Automotive shops across the country to come together and connect with the communities we serve,” said Donnie Carr, President & CEO of Christian Brothers Automotive. “We are so thankful to be a part of each and every one of these neighborhoods, and we are grateful to our local franchise owners and their teams for bringing our mission to life for more than 11 years.”
Christian Brothers’ National Day of Service was originally created by a franchisee in Austin, Texas in 2005 as a way to give back to the community with an allocated day of service. In 2010, what first started as a day to provide free oil changes to single mothers and other community members in need was officially instituted as a company-wide service event. Now, a decade later, National Service Day has become a cornerstone of the brand and is held annually on the second Saturday of October.
Founded in Mission Bend, Texas in 1982, Christian Brothers Automotive has successfully changed the way customers think about auto care. From the waiting room environment of each shop, which feels more like a welcoming family room, to the hassle-free interaction with shop owners and managers, Christian Brothers Automotive provides customers with an informative and comforting automotive service.
