History
The Austrian Franchise Association (ÖFV) was founded in 1986 on the initiative of the European franchise Federation (EFF) and is a key representative of the Austrian franchise industry. He has to perceive the particular task the interests of the franchise industry, to promote the reputable franchising and to serve as an information platform.
The ÖFV represents the quality community of franchise systems in Austria and sees itself as an organization for franchisors and franchisees, but also benefiting from the expertise of affiliated as an expert franchise lawyers and franchise business consultants.

The main task

Represent the interest group of Austrian franchise industry from the self-understanding, is one of ÖFV subsequent activities to its core tasks:
Competence Centre for Franchising and Cooperative Systems
Informing the public about franchising
Franchise lobbying of the legislative and executive branches
Ensuring the quality of franchising in Austria
Promoting entrepreneurship in Austria
Promote exchanges of experience among the members
Information from franchise buyers
Mediation between franchisors and franchise interested
Service point for all members
Entering into partnerships with financial institutions to provide financial support for start-ups
Mediator in the event of discrepancies between franchisors and franchisees
Organisation of franchise events
Cooperation with other franchise organizations and relevant public institutions
