Associacao Portuguesa Da Franchise
The APF – Franchise Portuguese Association is a private non-profit association, founded in 1988. It takes as its primary mission the study, dissemination and promotion of franchising in Portugal as a business development system and as a solution for the creation and expansion of SMEs in the market domestic and international.
Intends to contribute actively to boosting entrepreneurship in Portugal and the creation of business by franchising system.
It is also objective of the APF to create privileged partnerships and links with academia, the financial community and investor.
The APF wants to say even as a privileged interlocutor with the political authorities and other public bodies aiming to boost domestic franchise and leverage the international expansion of its associates.
The APF provides its members with the extensive network of international contacts with which the association has partnerships, as well as access to the world’s leading association of franchising in which is represented worldwide.
Over 27 years, the association has adapted to the market and the challenges posed by its members. The corporate image accompanied its history and in 2015, the APF redraws your logo in full assuming the new strategic positioning.
The APF represents its members in major international franchising organizations and among governmental and institutional bodies of the country.
To contribute to the revitalization and growth of the franchising business, the APF held in partnership with the FIS, the International Fair of Franchising Lisbon.
The APF intends to develop a virtual fair franchising opportunities, a unique concept in the Portuguese market.
The association will also develop an active strategy to support the internationalization of franchisadoras affiliates of APF by organizing missions and participation in international franchising event on advantageous terms.
The APF develops through its website providing information about business in franchising of its members, the national and international market for franchising.
The association also actively promotes training in franchising through its online platform and partnership with the Autonomous University of Lisbon and the International Franchise Association.
